Meet Your 2015-2016 PawPrint Staff

Editor in Chief:

     Elaine Milan, editor-in-chief, is a junior and in her second year working on the PawPrint. She writes for the Montgomery News and is the editor of the Teens Perspectives page. She contributes regularly to the Monty Sponge, a blog run by Montgomery High School students that discusses current events and ideas relevant to young people in the community. She is also a member of the MHS Alliance.

     Akhil Gumidyala, a senior and new member of the PawPrint editorial staff, is passionate in both the sciences and the humanities, particularly biology and journalism. He enjoys biology because he loves experimenting and studying how the human body functions, and he is interested in journalism because he enjoys writing and discussing current events.

 

Editors:

 

     Zubyn D’Costa, also a senior and a new addition to the PawPrint team, is a member of Interact, NAHS, and NHS. She is on the Teen Council at HiTOPS, located in Princeton, and participates in a diving club called “Lord of the Boards” while being captain of Montgomery High School’s own diving team.

 

     Kathryn Song is a junior in her first year on the PawPrint editorial staff and writes for the Monty Sponge. She enjoys practicing both the violin and the piano and plays in the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra and New Jersey All-State Orchestra.

 

     Allison Kang is also a junior in her second year on the PawPrint editor staff. She is currently a member of the tennis team and is a regular writer at the Monty Sponge. She particularly enjoys English class, not only because she loves to read and write, but also because she is constantly learning new language techniques and discovering new perspectives.

Advisor:

     Ms. Shelley Fallon, has been the advisor for the PawPrint for three years. As a member of the English Department, she teaches 9 English Honors and Journalism. Ms. Fallon has a BS in journalism from the University of Florida, where she served as a content and layout editor for the school’s daily newspaper. In addition, she spent many years as a public relations writer and editor prior to her career as a teacher.
